At your first visit, you’ll meet with Antonio Matarazzo, a highly experienced Bespoke tailor, who will help you choose your fabrics and trimmings, and discuss the specific style you are looking for.
You’ll then have your measurements taken, and further discuss the fine detailing of your Bespoke suit or other garment you want tailor-made. You’ll also be given an approximate date for your first fitting.
A minimum of two visits is usually needed, particularly for new customers who have never had their measurements taken at House of Rome before. Return customers often just require one visit.
It usually takes approximately eight to twelve weeks to complete.

Yes, we have a number of samples of our tailoring at our shop that you are welcome to look at and even try on!
It’s highly recommended to make an appointment, but we will always do our best to accommodate any customers who drop in without one.
All of our suits are distinguished by attention to the details, including hand-crafted buttons, and high-quality lining, working buttonholes on the sleeves, added inner pockets, and underarm shields.
We will do a second fitting if the suit doesn’t fit perfectly when it’s first delivered. All alterations will be done quickly to ensure that the fit is perfect.
The process is fast and easy. Simply book an appointment for a personal fitting, at which time you will choose the material and pattern. In about three weeks, we’ll deliver the final hand-made product!
